Why do we practice HOT yoga

Why HOT yoga?

Our hot yoga classes are in a heated room between 95-105 degrees.  

Benefits include:  

Improved flexibility- Heat warms muscles, which can help you move deeper into poses and feel less stiff.

Strength and balance- Holding poses in heat challenges stabilizing muscles and coordination more than you might expect.

Cardio boost- Your heart rate tends to stay elevated, so a hot yoga class can feel closer to light-moderate cardio than regular yoga.

Stress relief and mental focus- The intensity forces you to stay present.  Many people leave feeling mentally "reset" and calmer after a hot yoga practice

Sweat-induced confidence- You will sweat a lot, which feels cleansing and can be motivating.  

Routine and Discipline- Getting through a tough hot class can build mental resilience and consistency ("If I served that, I can handle today")
