A path towards healing after loss
GIY is a safe, restorative healing modality, inspired by movement and the different branches of yoga using breath, movement and sound to move the pain through.
We explore the five cycles (Awareness, Expression, Connection, Surrender/Acceptance, Transformation/Thrive) using breath-work, meditation, sound, asanas and other restorative movements; gently moving towards healing and one day thriving in spite of our loss(es). This is a 6 week program. Participants are asked to commit to attending each week. This a a FREE program but donations will be accepted.

Blending 3 relaxing therapies together. Sound Baths use vibrational tones to relax and calm the body, allowing the brain to enter into a theta brain wave state. The only requirement in a sound bath is to absorb the sounds being played. Reiki is energy healing. A Reiki Practioner will either use the laying on of their hands or their hands will hoover over someone to help clear any energy blockages. Once energy channels are cleared, the participant feels a sense of deep relaxation and release. Restorative Yoga is a form of yoga that can healing both physically, mentally, and emotionally. Each pose is is meant to be a soft place to relax and rest through the use of many props to get the body comfortable (think of resting on a soft cloud). All three together will leave you feeling complete relaxed and rested. This is a great opportunity to let go after a long work week.

Join us in our heart-centered yoga practice to honor and remember your loved ones. With gentle expertise and compassion, we will journey through healing, reflection and remembrance, supported by community. Each guest will also receive a self-care gift bag.
